West Jakarta Involves 56 RWs to Help Curb COVID-19 Spread

The West Jakarta administration has enlisted the help of 56 community units (RW) as part of wider efforts to curb the spread of the COVID-19.

Tujuannya membangkitkan kepedulian masyarakat,

West Jakarta Mayor Rustam Effendi said, in this program, his party intends to involve the community starting from the neighborhood units (RT) and RW levels to encourage citizens in obeying health protocols and conducting supervision.

"Our aim is to raise public awareness starting from the RT and RW levels towards COVID-19. Hopefully other regions will also take part in prevention efforts," he expressed, Friday (4/24).

He continued RWs that are free from COVID-19 should continue to be maintained by taking various preventive measures. That is by doing isolation independently, applying one entrance, checking the body temperature of citizens who want to enter the residential, wearing masks and educating residents about the dangers of COVID-19.

"We'll provide assistance, starting from spraying disinfectant, thermal gun to check body temperatures or masks that are managed by the local environment," he stated.
